I am delighted to inform the Team that the Grants Committee of the Michigan District Church Extension Fund has approved partial funding of Martin Luther Chapel’s $10,000 grant request. The Church Extension Fund approved $6000 to be used for sanctuary audio equipment, which includes three handheld microphones, one-24 channel sanctuary mixer, two speakers and stands, and additional microphones to swap between lavalier and handheld.

I give thanks to the Church Extension Fund for this grant. I also give thanks for the work of Joel Newport in designing the sanctuary audio equipment set up for the Wednesday On Fire worship service and of Pastor and Joe Nettleman in preparing the grant application.

Our next goal is purchase the sanctuary audio equipment as outlined in the grant application as soon as possible. Joel has agreed to update the costs on the sanctuary audio equipment and distribute for comments.
