Help is desperately needed in Haiti as a result of the earthquake that hit that country on Tuesday, 1/12.
If you wish to contribute financially, you may write a check payable to Martin Luther Chapel and place it in the offering plate on Sunday. Be sure to mark “Haiti Relief” on the memo line. Gifts can also be made online on this website. All gifts given to Martin Luther Chapel will be distributed 75% directly to the leadership of the people with whom Martin Luther Chapel has worked in Haiti on previous Servant Event trips and 25% will be given to Lutheran World Relief.
Alternatively, you may also contribute directly Lutheran World Relief by making an online gift at www.lwr.org or call 1-800-597-5972.

They will be working on repairs to the orphanage, which had been constructed by several mission teams over the past few years. They will hand deliver the health kits to the Haiti Lutheran Church which will distribute them to those in need in the community.
