....A printer's devil, summer playground supervisor, nurse's aide, Sears sales person, Peace Corps Volunteer, teacher, church secretary, Visiting Nurse Services Education Consultant, Michigan 4-H Foundation Development Staff Member, Volunteer, and just prior to retirement, Assistant to the East Lansing City Council...but, most importantly, wife to David and mother to Andrea and Diana and now adding Eric Greyson, Andrea's husband, to my identity.
I grew up in Bay City, Michigan, and met Dave when I was 16 years old at a Lutheran Youth gathering in Detroit. We married the summer after I finished college and one week later left for Peace Corps service, serving two years on the southernmost island in the Philippines on the Sulu Sea. Upon returning we settled in the Detroit area and lived in downtown Detroit for almost 20 years. We moved to East Lansing in 1991. Logistically, this pretty much accounts for my 64 years on this earth.
